    Sometimes They sell wine they do not own or possess. When their supplier backs out guess what they do? Right they apologize. This has happened twice to me this year 2019. Great job Vinfolio.

    Great customer experience and service. Was looking for a specific wine and they suggested wines at similar price points from similar regions and was extremely pleased with what they found. Have recommended to many friends!!

    Sadly negative star is not an option. Winter of 2013 I placed an order for over a dozen bottles. One of them, a Sauternes, was to be received later then shipped, it was estimated it would arrive in the fall and I would be notified. I paid for the wine and was told that upon arrival it would ship. In October I had to call as no one had reached out to me to advise if the wine had arrived, I was told it had not, there had been a delay. Many calls later, for they NEVER took the initiative to call me, I was told the wine was in fact there and that a 'glitch' in their system had missed its arrival, but I was told not to worry as it would ship right away, I was asked what method of shipment I preferred and all was set. After not receiving my wine I had to call yet again to inquire as to what was going on, to then be told that the shipping policy was now that they would only ship a minimum of six bottles. Incredible that no one had even called to advise me. I explained that when I bought it and PAID for it this was not the case, furthermore the delay was all due to their own incompetence and that surely an exception should now be made and pay the additional fee to ship just the one bottle. Guess what, no reply. After far too much frustration I finally told them In November to credit me back, they said "right away," and I have the email. Yesterday, February 10, 2014, I check my credit card again to find out no credit, I email them, not happy as one can imagine, to be told, "Oh so very sorry, our finance department has been so busy but it should be done today." Again I have the email. This is the worst service, I dare say theft, I have ever experienced. How this firm can deal in high end wines is beyond me. They are far too many reputable wine dealers to have to deal with this one, buyer BEWARE!
